The excitement was palpable as people gathered at Columbia University to attend the launch of the first ever American Journal of Endocannabinoid Medicine. Our very own Janet Benton-Gaillard contributed to the journal with her “Positive Autism Intervention with Cannabidiol: A Case Study”. Depicting the struggle a family had with their son who was diagnosed with DSM-5 ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) at age 2 and the subsequent success they had treating him with the product developed and sold at 101 CBD, this article is one of the first of its kind and was chosen as the headline article for the first edition of this journal.
Janet Benton-Gaillard played an instrumental role in the rehabilitation of this young boy and the development of the raw, organic, whole plant, full spectrum products at 101 CBD. She is a retired school psychologist, a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and the Director of Research and Development at 101 CBD. Her article brought tears to the eyes of many and hope to the hearts of endless families across the world.
